The Certified Retail Tobacconist title and the Professional Designation CRT is earned by apprentices retail Tobacconists.  A CRT candidate should spend approximately 500 hours apprenticing with a retailer and score 90% or better on the Final Exam to merit Certification.  Upon successful completion of the Final Exam and acceptance of the TU Retailer Code of Ethics & Standards, the candidate earns a lifetime membership to the TOBACCONIST UNIVERSITY®   Alumni Family.  Benefits of Certification include:
